The Space Bambi Show

For the research project “capitalism, god-like imaginaries and other systems of belief – an agnostic animist approach”  I created the fictional character Space Bambi – a spirit that has manifested in a godlike pop-idol-shaman who channels the universal wisdom with catchy pop songs and alluring merchandise. With contemporary animistic rituals and mythologies Space Bambi tries to embrace humanity with all its flaws and magic – the re-enchantment of capitalism! Within the project many things were created: songs/lyrics, songbook zine, album, music videos, costumes, jewelry, toys, live performances and world domination.
